I’m so grateful you’re here.
I officially launched Anna Duncan Photography in 2014, but I’ve been photographing happy things for as long as I can remember. I found a new accountability in my work after having my daughter in 2019, and I’m so passionate about approaching your session or wedding day with open hands to snap what’s in front of me. Life moves so quickly and it’s an honor that you’re considering me to step in and safeguard your story.
I live in the Upper West Side of Manhattan with my family, and pictured here is my beautiful husband and our favorite coffee window by our apartment. Ben and I have been together since we were 15, and there is no safer place for me than being next to him. He is also an important part of my business (i.e. contracts and scheduling and generally making sure my head is screwed on straight), and he’s truly the best person I know.

Photography is an intimate experience, but I want yours to feel light and easy! Your life’s sweetest moments and stages deserve to be documented in an honest way, and I want you to look back on your gallery and think “wow, that’s exactly how it felt”. My biggest goal is to make you feel comfortable and at home during our time together, and the rest always falls into place.
